'Earlier, it was traced to Lucknow and then in Jammu and Kashmir and then again in Lucknow,' Ramit Sharma said.
'A police team was sent to Lucknow Wednesday and the constables were asked to come to the SGPGIMS police outpost. They came there along with Pintu Yadav and sensing trouble, tried to help him escape from there. However, we nabbed all of them and a mobile phone was also recovered from Pintu Yadav,' Ramit Sharma added.
A criminal case has been lodged against the three constables and they have been sent to jail, he added.
