He said members of a Rajasthan nomadic tribe have come to Delhi and are putting up under flyovers, at bus stops, on pavements and other similar locations and keep an 'eye on the movements of residents in nearby colonies'.
Dhaliwal said the gang works in three groups. 'A set of informers who work as rickshaw-pullers and do small household jobs; criminals who come to commit the crime on the basis of specific information, and third are those who dispose of the stolen articles by selling these in Rajasthan at Sarna, Kota.'
Dhaliwal said after every heist, they would celebrate by cooking meat and consume drinks jointly at their temporary accommodation.
The gang has committed crime in every nook and corner of the city. The arrested men disclosed the gang has committed thefts and burglaries in Anand Vihar, Preet Vihar, Mayur Vihar, South Extension and Kotla Mubarakpur and Amar Colony, the police said.
