Bangalore, Aug 2 - Two big hits and now a Filmfare award, Kannada actress Radhika Pandit is certainly going places and she says she will always try to live up to the expectations of her fans by doing good films.
Radhika won best actress Filmfare Award for her performance in her debut Kannada movie 'Moggina Manasu', which is directed by Shashank. The film that got rave reviews for its fresh concept and good performances from artists won five Filmfare awards, including for best director.
'The function was held on Saturday night at Hyderabad and I was just in a philosophical mood at the function - I told myself that even a nomination was the best thing that had happened to my career. But when my name was announced, I was just ecstatic. I was really thrilled when I went to the rostrum to receive the award. I was so excited that I don't remember what had happened at that moment on stage,' Radhika told IANS.
Radhika's 'Love Guru' too got an overwhelming response at the box office and she also received accolades for her performance from the critics.
After the film's success, she toured places like Shimoga, Davanagere and Hubli with the team of 'Love Guru'.
'The response was terrific in all the places where we went.
