'The governor is making false promises. He should ensure that the food grains reach the poor people at the earliest at fair prices. In Ranchi alone, 120 PDS shops have been closed in absence of food grains. The state has been declared as drought-hit but where is the money to start relief work,' asked Das.
He said only assembly elections at the earliest can address the problems of the people.
The paddy crop has been damaged as the state received only 20 to 30 percent rainfall this year.
Meanwhile, BJP will launch a Save Jharkhand Yatra Sep 1-25. 'During the yatra, we will make people aware as to how they have been betrayed by the UPA government and during president's rule,' said Das.
