New Delhi, Aug 2 - He might be a heartthrob down south, but actor Nitin Reddy, who is set to make his Bollywood debut with Ram Gopal Varma's thriller 'Agyaat', says he is not sure of a career in the Hindi film world unless he wins the hearts of audiences.
'I'm not sure about my career in Bollywood. It's great to be here but more films in this industry depend on whether people like my work or not. If I'm appreciated and I get good offers then I would love to stay here,' Nitin told IANS over phone from Mumbai.
The 25-year-old made his debut in 2002 with hit Tamil film 'Jayam'. He went on to do more films like 'Dil' and 'Sye' that also became popular. His first Hindi film 'Agyaat' also stars Priyanka Kothari and is set to release Aug 7.
Talking about his role in Varma's film, the actor said: 'My character is that of an assistant director of a film. The character can easily be summed up as a guy who goes from zero to hero. In the end my character really emerges as a real life hero.'
'I wanted to work with Ram Gopal Varma so when he called me for the role, I couldn't say no. On top of that, when I read the script I really liked it and I loved my character. I can easily say this is my best role till now,' he added.
The thriller revolves around a film unit that goes for a jungle-shoot.
