Sreesanth last played a one-dayer for India against Australia in Brisbane March 2008.

His last Test match was against South Africa at Kanpur in April last year, following which he was bogged down by fitness problems. Sreesanth was Sunday named as the Kerala cricket team captain.

After a long lay-off he returned to play the last few matches for Kings XI Punjab in the second edition of the Indian Premier League played in South Africa.
