Varanasi, July 25 - A year after policemen from Punjab busted a 'Munnabhai' racket in the state Pre-Medical Test (PMT), a police team from Faridkot arrested an MBBS student of the Benaras Hindu University (BHU) medical college here for impersonating a candidate at the 2008 Punjab PMT examination.
Manikant, a VII semester student at the BHU medical college, was nabbed by the Punjab police Friday on the basis of leads given by Delhi-based Sanjiv Kumar, who was stated to be the kingpin of the racket.
Before taking away Manikant to Faridkot to register a criminal case against him, the policemen from Punjab told reporters here: 'Manikant had impersonated at the 2008 Punjab PMT examination for Keshav Kumar, with whom Sanjiv Kumar had struck a deal for Rs.
