I was hoping to witness the celestial spectacle with my family and friends. But, that didn't happen,' rued college student Mohan Kishore before leaving Lalbagh.
Sixty-year-old retired government employee Satish Hedge, who came to Lalbagh with his wife Malati said that he was a bit upset as he was hoping to see some part of the celestial spectacle.
'Heavy clouds came in our way. I have been in Lalbagh since 5.20 a.m. Now, I am going back home with a heavy heart,' lamented Hedge.
However, many took it in their stride, and continued with their daily life and prepared themselves for their schools and offices, after the eclipse ended.
'I will have my shower and breakfast and will head to my office,' said IT professional Meena Grover.
