The mayor said that although the civic agency would evaluate these, he was happy the MCD did good work for 'containing the spread of the flu and also the scare'.
He congratulated all officials and staff that the situation never went out of control. 'And this was no small task given the magnitude of the city and of course the scare.'
The national capital so far has reported 2,079 swine flu cases and of nearly half are children. Nine people have died of the H1N1 virus in Delhi.
The swine flu virus has claimed 264 lives across the country.
