'Definitely background score. It is an art that we are perfecting. It's a very challenging job and we are trying to master it,' said Sulaiman.
'But it's true that music direction brings you recognition. We have to agree that India is a song and dance nation and the main focus has always been on songs in a film,' he added.
At the same time, the composer is happy that people are now slowly realising the need of having a good background score in a film.
'Now a lot of people are understanding the importance of background score. Today, we have directors who call us to book our dates three months in advance for their projects. It feels nice,' said Sulaiman.
Apart from 'Kites', the composers have various big budget films in their kitty including 'Teen Patti', 'Pyaar Impossible' and 'Kurbaan'.
