Singh, who has been Himachal Pradesh chief minister five times, also questioned the vigilance bureau for giving a clean chit to all the accused in an alleged high-profile call girl racket and sought a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the matter.
On Sep 19, the state police had cleared senior BJP leader Rajinder Rana, senior government official Suresh Attari and Anil Sharma, a private company executive, in the racket saying nothing objectionable was found against them.
'The state government has hushed up the matter as senior functionaries of the ruling party (Bharatiya Janata Party) and officials of the government were involved. We are demanding a CBI inquiry into it,' Singh said.
