New Delhi, Sep 21 - Four motorcyclists have been arrested here for their alleged involvement in a series of robberies across the national capital, police said Monday.
Sleuths of the crime branch's anti-robbery cell arrested Chandrabhan, Amit, Santosh Kumar and Chandra Mohan from Sadar Bazar area in north Delhi Sunday and seized two country-made firearms, four live cartridges and two motorcycles from their possession.
'They were wanted in at least nine cases of robberies reported in different parts of the national capital. In their interrogation they revealed having invested the looted wealth in a hotel in Paharganj area and also in a cable TV network in west Delhi,' said Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Neeraj Thakur.
