Congress leader and former legislator Raj Kumar Verka told IANS that the posters of the 'missing' Sidhu had been put up outside government buildings and other prominent places across this city, 250 km from state capital Chandigarh.
'I have even lodged an online complaint with the Civil Lines police station here for registration of an FIR (first information report) as our MP is missing from here for a long time,' Verka said.
Sidhu retained the Amritsar Lok Sabha seat as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate in the April-May general elections.
'He has not been to his constituency ever since getting elected (in May). He made falser promises to the people of Amritsar.
