Sharma said noted music composer Ravi, who came to limelight after giving music to films like 'Dilli Ka Thug', 'Choudhvi Ka Chand', 'Ghunghat', 'Ek Phool Do Mali', 'Neel Kamal', and 'Tarana' would receive the Lata Mangeskar Award.

Likewise, late lyricist Gulsan Bawra has been chosen for Kishore Kumar Award for 2008-09. Bawra's widow Anju Mehta would accept the award in Khandwa Oct 13, Sharma said.

Archaeologist B.B. Lal would be given Dr Vishnu Sridhar Vakankar Rashtriya Samman for his contribution to the field of archaeology.
