Dubai, Sep 17 - An oil company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched two new engine oils to ensure higher fuel efficiency and less pollution, WAM news agency reported.

The Protect Green 5W 40 and Vulcan Green 10W 40 engine oils have low content of sulphated ash and phosphorous, according to the report Wednesday.

The products are launched by Enoc International Sales Ltd., a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc), which is the first oil company in the UAE to have a 'green' product portfolio designed for gasoline and diesel engines.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, chief executive of Enoc Group, said the new products are part of the company's vision for a pollution free environment by maintaining high industry standards.
