The lawyers had declared a three-day strike from Sep 15 to press their demand.
'The agitation passed off peacefully and we got a lot of public support during three days,' said Ankur Nagar, President of the Gautam Budh Nagar Bar Association.
Vehicles remained off the road and rail traffic was also disrupted in Ghaziabad district. Shops, business establishments, medical stores, and petrol pumps remained shut during the day.
