Kolkata, Sep 17 - Australian dairy brands, Bega cheese and Pauls Zymil easy to digest milk, were launched in Kolkata Thursday and would soon be available in other Indian cities as well, an official said.

'The brands will be initially available in eastern and northeastern India, followed by launches in northern, southern and western India,' Debraj Sanyal, director iMBiz Pvt Ltd, told reporters at a press meet. iMBiz will distribute and market the brands in India.

After Kolkata, the next destinations would be Chandigarh and Delhi. The brands would have pan-Indian presence in around six months time, he said.

Bega is Australia's largest cheese brand. Bega's variants launched by iMBiz includes natural cheddar cheese, bega super slim, reduced fat cheddar cheese, etc. Pauls Zymil is an easy to digest milk.

Sanyal said though the imported products would cost more than the local products, the costs would be much lower than similar imported products available in the market.
