Ahmed also said that the PML-N would move a resolution against Zardari in the National Assembly and the Senate.

'President Zardari's statement is startling and there is no precedent in the world where a selected president confesses that he has been made president with the help of the foreign powers,' he said and demanded that the nation be informed that under which clause of the constitution and Law the said deal was made with the international powers.

The PML-N has been demanding a trial against Musharraf since the Supreme Court had ruled that the declaration of emergency by Musharraf in November 2007 was unconstitutional and illegal.

The Islamabad police had Aug 10 registered a criminal case against Musharraf following the court order.
