Rohtak, Sep 15 - Seven members of a retired teacher's family were found murdered in their house in Kabulpura village near this Haryana town. Police have registered a case against three people, including two family members.
'We have registered a case against three people (two family members and one family friend), and started our investigation. We have not arrested anyone yet, but are expecting a breakthrough very soon,' Anil Kumar Rao, superintendent of police, Rohtak, told IANS.
He added: 'We are taking the help of forensic experts to get some vital clues. We have sent the bodies for post mortem examination and are awaiting the report. As the probe is on, we cannot disclose anything more at this stage.'
The victims had strangulation marks on their necks.
Another victim, who was still alive, was rushed to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak, some 70 km from New Delhi, in a serious condition.
