New Delhi, Sep 15 - India is seeking details from its consulate in Melbourne about the reported attack on three Indians.

'We are concerned, we are seeking details (of the incident),' official sources told IANS here Tuesday.

The three Indians were brutally attacked in a Melbourne suburb by a group of youths who allegedly made racist remarks, according to media report Tuesday.

Omkar Singh, a relative of the victims, told a news channel that the attack took place when his relatives were playing pool in Epping. He said the attackers told the victims to 'go back to India'.

Sukhdip Singh, his brother Gurdeep Singh and uncle Mukhtiar Singh were targeted by the group.
