Mumbai, July 17 - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is expected to land in Mumbai around 10.30 p.m. Friday to begin her five-day trip to India, according to sources.
After landing, her aircraft will be directed to the technical area of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) on the Kalina side of Santacruz east.
She will be received by protocol officials of the Maharashtra government, representatives of the US consulate in Mumbai and the US embassy in New Delhi.
Thereafter, she will be driven to downtown Colaba, to the Hotel Taj Mahal Palace & Tower where she will spend the night in a suite, the sources said.
Mumbai police have made elaborate security arrangements at the airport, outside it and on the route from where she will drive down to Colaba in south Mumbai.
