New Delhi, July 17 - Deepika Kumari kept India in the hunt for a gold medal by moving into the final of the cadet recurve women's event in the 11th Youth World Archery Championship at Ogden in Utah, US.
According to information received here, India are also in fray for four bronze medals in the individual and team events.
Continuing her fine run, Deepika, a the senior national champion, defeated top seed South Korean Jeon Hun Young, 112-108 to set up the title-clash with 10th seed Russian Sayana Tsyrempilova.
In the men's cadet recurve, seventh-seeded Sanjay Boro won 112-101 against 18th ranked Turk Osman Eskici and faced third-seeded Min Taehong of South Korea in the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, Boro lost 106-117 to the South Korean and will face 29th-ranked Hector Antonio Smith of Mexico for the bronze medal.
