New Delhi, Sep 7 - The International Labour Organisation (ILO) will organise a three-day workshop on HIV/AIDs from Sep 9.
In a press release Monday, ILO said the workshop is being organised to share the lessons learnt in implementation of its programme, 'Prevention of HIV/AIDS in the world of work: a tripartite response'.
The ILO programme, started in India in 2001, aims to put in a place a national programme on HIV/AIDS in the workplace.
To be inaugurated by Minister of Labour and Employment M. Mallikarjun Kharge, the workshop here will not only see the launch of documents and a handbook development during the project but also an advocacy and training video for people living with HIV.
The participants will be from the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO), People Living with HIV (PLHIV), and public and private companies.
