Stockholm, Sep 5 (DPA) A Swedish woman bit her hairdresser because she was upset about a hairdo that went wrong, a media report said Saturday.

The customer bit the hairdresser in the thumb and also smashed up part of the salon in Jonkoping, southwest of Stockholm, the report said.

A district court ordered her to pay 9,000 kronor ($3,000) in damages and almost twice that amount in compensation for vandalising the salon.
