Chandigarh, Sep 4 - After the success of its 'Man vs Wild', Discovery channel has launched a new adventure reality show 'Survivorman' in which the protagonist will remain alone in the wild without any camera crew, a channel official said here Friday.
'We have recently launched another astounding survival-based series 'Survivorman'. The difference with 'Man vs Wild' is that in 'Survivorman' there will be no camera crew with the protagonist and he has to shoot the entire episode himself, that makes his task more difficult,' Rajiv Bakshi, director of marketing (India) Discovery networks Asia-Pacific, told reporters here.
In 'Survivorman' the protagonist will remain alone in the wild for seven days without any food, shelter and water. Besides, he has to shoot everything himself -- that means dragging 50 pounds of camera gear and batteries along the way, said Bakshi who was here to promote the new series.
