Kolkata, Sep 3 - Young Tata Football Academy (TFA) played a dream second half to stun city giants East Bengal 3-1 in a group A encounter of the 114th IFA Shield Football tournament at Barasat near here Thursday.
Down 1-0 at the breather, the Tata boys pulverised East Bengal with a series of attacks and struck through Jagtar Singh, Irfan Khan and Robin Singh to cause East Bengal's inglorious exit from the tournament at a packed Vidyasagar stadium.
Earlier, Syed Rahim Nabi put East Bengal ahead in the 40th minute. Saikat Saha Roy rushed down the right and centred into the box. The ball deflected off striker Subhas Singh and Nabi finished off with a left footer.
