New Delhi, Sep 3 - India's Ashutosh Singh and Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan advanced to the semifinals of the $10,000 International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament at the DLTA complex here Thursday.
Former national champion Ashutosh came back from a set down to shock fifth-seeded Rohan Gajjar 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 and next plays sixth-seeded Japanese Kento Takeuchi.
Takeuchi rallied from a set down to douse a spirited display from Indian youngster Karunuday Singh, 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.
In the other quarterfinals, fourth-seeded Ranjeet decimated compatriot Rupesh Roy 6-1, 6-2. He takes on second-seeded South Korean Young-Jun Kim, who was stretched to a three-setter by Indian wildcard Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan before winning 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.
