New Delhi, Sep 2 - The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL) has signed a contract with the International Doping Test and Management (IDTM), Stockholm, to carry out testing of 300 samples in a year.
The IDTM is an independent agency that supplies sports organizations with global doping control services.
'The organizers of 11th South Asian Games-2010 to be held in Dhaka from Jan 29 to Feb 9 have also approached NDTL to carry out testing of 300 samples during the games. The tariff details have been sent to them,' the Sports Minstry said in a statement.
The NDTL is also receiving queries from other international agencies for testing of samples, namely from Nepal, Iran, Kuwait, Doha, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
So far, the NDTL has done international testing for 242 samples for various International competitions after obtaining accreditation from World Anti Doping Agency (WADA) last year.
