New Delhi, Sep 2 - Congress president Sonia Gandhi has said development will continue to top the party's agenda and will also enable it to win the upcoming assembly elections in three states.
'If there is one lesson we learnt from the Lok Sabha elections earlier this year, it was the value of working together with a clear message of hope and development for our people. This should continue to be our agenda,' Gandhi said in her message carried in the latest issue of party mouthpiece Congress Sandesh.
Buoyed by the Lok Sabha results, Gandhi expressed confidence that the party would emerge victorious in the assembly elections in Maharashtra, Haryana and Arunachal Pradesh. The elections will be held Oct 13 and the results will be out Oct 22.
'I have no doubt that with our hard work, we will emerge victorious,' she maintained.
