New Delhi, Aug 31 - Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sushma Swaraj Monday met expelled leader Jaswant Singh at his residence here but party sources said the MP's reinstatement was not discussed.
The surprise meeting came amid turmoil in the BJP triggered by Jaswant Singh's expulsion over his book that says that Pakistan's founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah alone cannot be blamed for the 1947 partition of India.
'(Jaswant Singh) has served the party for 30 years. Nothing less than a personal meeting would have served the purpose,' a source told IANS. Other sources said his reinstatement did not come up for discussion.
