Chandigarh, Aug 30 - Two more positive cases of influenza A (H1N1) virus were reported here Sunday, health officials said.
H.C. Gera, union territory nodal officer for swine flu, told IANS: 'Throat and nasal swabs samples of two women have tested positive in the labs of PGIMER (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research) here today (Sunday).'
'One of the women is a resident of Chandigarh whereas the other is a resident of neighbouring Panchkula town. Both of them are in the age group of 25 to 30 years and our health officials are investigating their travel history,' he added.
With the detection of these two new cases, the total number of positive swine flu cases in Chandigarh has reached 17.
