Kolkata, Aug 30 - The Unicef has roped in West Bengal's matinee idol Prosenjit Chatterjee to help promote messages for decreasing child mortality.
'He will join hands with us and the West Bengal government to help promote messages for child survival. To start with, he will be extending his support to promote use of Oral Rehydration Solutions and promote exclusive breastfeeding,' said Lori Calvo, State Representative, Unicef office for West Bengal.
'I am happy to be a part of the initiative for children and work with Unicef and state government to contribute my bit to this cause. These are simple interventions and doables and can help save lives of children so let's promote them,' a Unicef media release quoted Prosenjit as saying.
