Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 28 - A 44-year-old woman has died of swine flu in Kerala, taking the death toll in the state to two, an official said Friday.
Nodal officer Amar S. Fettle told IANS that the patient was being treated at a hospital and died Thursday at Kochi, about 250 km from here.
'The test results of the woman came from Manipal only Friday evening and she tested positive for the H1N1 virus. She was a patient at a hospital since Aug 24 and was under treatment,' he said.
'As of now, 192 people have tested positive for HINI in the state, of which 35 are currently under treatment in various hospitals of the state,' Fettle added.
The first swine flu death was reported early this month.
