Lucknow, Aug 27 - Eight more cases of swine flu cases were reported from Uttar Pradesh Thursday, taking the total number of influenza A (H1N1) patients in the state to 69.
'The figure is likely to rise with the completion of tests on 40 more samples,' said T.N. Dhole, a professor at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS).
All the fresh cases were reported from Lucknow.
SGPGIMS has the state's only authorised laboratory to test H1N1 samples.
'There is nothing to worry as all patients are responding quite well to Tamiflu treatment,' Dhole said.
