New Delhi, Aug 27 - India's top seed Vishnu Vardhan and second-seeded Yuki Bhambri entered the semi-finals of the $10,000 International Tennis Federation's (ITF) tournament at the DLTA complex here Thursday.
Vishnu continued his fine form to prevail over seventh-seeded Peter Lucassen of the Netherlands 6-2, 6-4, while Yuki had a tough first set before overcoming Briton Chris Eaton 7-6(5), 6-3.
Vishnu will next face third-seeded Korean Young-Jun Kim, who beat the Indian to win last week's ITF tournament. Kim overcame India's Ranjeet Virali-Murugesan 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinal.
Yuki, who is preparing for the junior US Open Grand Slam, saw off a tough challenge from fifth seed Eaton. The Indian's semi-final opponent is Australian K. Balakrishnan, who sailed past Korean Jae-Won Choi 6-4, 6-1.
In the doubles, third seed Rupesh Roy and Vivek Shokeen defeated Young-Jae Kim and Young-Jun Kim of Korea 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 to move into the final.
The Koreans will meet Tim Bradshaw and Max Jones of England, who upset top seeds Vishnu and Ashutosh Singh 6-4, 4-6, 10-4.
