Mumbai, Aug 26 - Infosys, Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have bagged IT maintenance contracts from oil and gas giant British Petroleum (BP) Plc, the Indian IT firms said in separate statements Wednesday.
According to the companies, BP selected them after undertaking a programme to consolidate its IT vendors for application development and maintenance.

Patil Rail bags order from Delhi Airport Express
Mumbai: Patil Rail Infrastructure Ltd (PRIL) has bagged a contract to design, manufacture and supply new-age railway tracks for the ambitious Airport Express Link project that will connect the New Delhi railway station to the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the capital.
The contract has been awarded by Delhi Airport Metro Express Ltd, a group company of the Reliance-Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group.
As per the agreement, PRIL will use the contemporary track technology, RHEDA 2000, for building track for the Airport Express Link, which will enable trains to run at a speed up to 160 km per hour.

Future Axiom launches offers to push Blackberry sales
New Delhi: Future Axiom, the mobile retail arm of Future Group, Wednesday announced a slew of offers to push Blackberry smartphone sales at their Axiom stores.
All BlackBerry phones will be sold at a lower price than the present market prices. Besides, all customers will be offered free Airtel DTH set-top box worth Rs.1,750 along with two months' validity or recharge of equal value.
