New Delhi, Aug 25 - Six Bangladeshi nationals, including a woman, have been arrested on charges of carrying out several robberies in the national capital and other states, police said Tuesday.

The gang was arrested Monday on a specific tip-off when they came to sell some stolen jewellery, a police officer said.

According to police, the woman member of the gang used to identify the targets as she worked as a domestic help and provided information about money and jewellery to the gang.

'All the gang members have illegally migrated from Bangladesh and have previously been arrested. They used to take help of Bangladeshi servants for committing the crime,' said Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) H.G.S. Dhaliwal.

Police have recovered over 400 precious stones worth millions and jewellery from their possession.
