New Delhi, Aug 21 - The organisers of the ONGC Nehru Cup Football Tournament were forced to call off the third match of the tournament between Sri Lanka and Lebanon after heavy rains lashed the national capital Friday.
The ground was not fit to play after almost three hours of heavy downpour. The matches have been pushed back by a day. The final will be played on the same date Aug 31, said N.K Bhatia, organising secretary of the tournament.
The match between Sri Lanka and Lebanon will now be held Saturday while India's match against Kyrgyzstan will be held Sunday.
The last league match against India and Syria will be played Aug 29.
