Bhubaneswar, Aug 20 - Maoists Thursday blew up a forest range office in Orissa's Sundergarh district, police said.

About 30 rebels, in two vehicles, came to the office at Tamra under the Banki police station around 2 p.m. and asked the forest officials to leave the office, before blowing it up, Rourkela's superintendent of police Diptesh Pattnaik said.

The Maoists also took away a motorcycle and generator from the office.
