Patna, Aug 21 - The police will approach the court for speedy trial of Janata Dal-United (JD-U) leader and former MP Vijay Krishna, who is the prime accused along with his son Chanakya in the abduction and murder of a businessman, officials said Friday.
Vijay Krishna, in his late 50s, was arrested from Faridabad in Haryana and brought here Thursday.
'We will file a chargesheet soon and approach the court for a speedy trial,' Additional Director General (Police Headquarters) Neelmani told IANS.
Vijay Krishna was arrested by a police team from Bihar after evading arrest for more than two months in connection with murder of Patna businessman Satyendra Kumar Singh.
