New Delhi, Aug 17 - Delhi Police have arrested a contract killer allegedly involved in more than 40 cases of murder, attempted murder, robbery, dacoity and kidnapping.
A senior police officer said they had received information that Rajkumar of the Sanjay Bhoot gang, allegedly involved in the kidnapping of advocate Subodh Jain Aug 6 and his murder later, was hiding in Delhi.
Rajkumar was arrested from near a hospital in south Delhi Sunday where he had come to meet one of his accomplices, the police official added.
The police recovered a home-made pistol and four live cartridges from him.
'On interrogation, he disclosed that he along with four others had kidnapped and murdered advocate Subodh Jain. He also admitted that he was involved in smuggling of liquor from Chandigarh to Uttarakhand,' the police further said.
According to police, Rajkumar also confessed to murdering a property dealer March 2009, on a contract of Rs.300,000.
