Bhopal, Aug 17 - The number of suspected swine flu cases in Madhya Pradesh has reached 66, though there is no confirmed case so far, officials said here Monday.
Meanwhile, the report for five samples, including three from Bhopal that were sent for swine flu testing have been negative.
'So far 66 samples had been sent from the medical colleges in five cities -- Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa -- to laboratories in Pune and Delhi for tests. They include 19 from Bhopal, 16 from Indore, 29 from Jabalpur and two from Rewa,' state's deputy director of health C.B. Solanki said.
Solanki, who is supervising the swine flu control room at the JP hospital in Bhopal, said that there was nothing to fear. 'We haven't received the final reports yet. So we cannot say that swine flu is increasing. As people are reading about swine flu in the newspapers they are approaching hospitals to get themselves checked but there is no need to panic,' he added.
