New Delhi, July 13 - Gammon India, the company carrying out the construction work at the Delhi Metro site where six people were killed as a section of a elevated viaduct collapsed, denied negligence on its part and said all safety measures had been taken.
'We followed highest safety measures and have safety engineers. We are an ISO certified company and prima facie I don't find any mistake on our part,' said Umeash Gupta, vice-president Gammon India.
Urban Development Minister S. Jaipal Reddy said: 'We will not spare any one, including Gammon India, found guilty. We are yet to receive the inquiry committee report. Accountability will be fixed.'
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is a joint venture of the central and Delhi governments.
