Shimla, Aug 13 - Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal Thursday denied that the state government was going slow on the corruption cases registered against Steel Minister Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh, and stressed that the investigation agencies 'are on the job'.
'The government is not dragging its feet in the corruption cases registered against Virbhadra Singh and his wife Pratibha Singh. We are following the legal procedure. The law will take its own course,' he told reporters here.
Congress rebel leader Vijai Singh Mankotia, who had released an audio CD on the basis of which the police have registered cases against Singh and his wife, had alleged the government was going slow on the investigations.
'The government would not spare anybody, irrespective of his status, if any corruption case is surfaced.
