Abu Dhabi, Aug 13 - United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan has greeted his Indian counterpart Pratibha Patil on the occasion of India's Independence Day.

Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum has also wished the Indian president on the occasion, WAM news agency reported Thursday.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, has sent a similar message of greetings to the Indian leader, the report said.
