Kolkata, Aug 13 - A Jharkhand resident was Thursday found positive for Influenza A (H1N1) here, raising the confirmed cases of swine flu in West Bengal to 14, health department sources said.
Rajesh Kumar Singh, who hails from Deoghar in Jharkhand, had come to the city on personal work.
Suffering from fever, body ache and cough and cold for the past few days, Singh came to the Beliaghata Infectious Diseases Hospital Wednesday and underwent the tests.
'We got his reports today (Thursday). He has tested positive,' the source said.
Singh had visited Mumbai, badly hit by swine flu, a few days back.
Five people diagnosed with swine flu are now undergoing treatment at the isolation ward in the hospital.
Two other suspected cases of swine flu were admitted Thursday.
