Panaji, Aug 8 - Thirty students of a government-run school here were taken ill after eating the mid-day meal Saturday and have been hospitalised, officials said.

The students, who belong to Navyuvak High School, have been admitted to Chicalim Cottage Hospital.

The contract awarded to a NGO for providing the mid-day meal has been suspended and the director of education has been asked to probe the incident, an official said.
