Chandigarh, Aug 8 - A 29-year-old engineer, admitted at a Chandigarh hospital, has tested positive for swine flu, officials said Saturday.
According to health officials, the patient is a Chandigarh resident who works as a production engineer at the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) refinery at Panipat in Haryana. He had gone on an official trip to Canada and returned last month after staying there for a month.
After exhibiting the symptoms of swine flu, he was admitted at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) here Aug 5.
