New Delhi, Aug 8 - Showers in parts of drought-struck Delhi brought down the temperature Saturday morning.
The capital received 2.6 mm of rainfall till 8.30 a.m. Saturday. The rain brought down the minimum temperature by a degree, which settled at 26.2 degrees Celsius.
However, the humidity level rose to 70 percent.
'The capital is likely to get more rains later in the day,' said an official at the Safdarjung meteorological office.
The Indian Meteorological Department Friday predicted increase in rainfall activity over the plains of northwest India, including Delhi.
