New Delhi, Aug 5 - A parents' group in the capital has moved the Delhi High Court, challenging the fee hike imposed by two schools run by the Indian Air Force Benevolent Cultural and Educational Society.

Filing a petition through counsel Ashok Aggarwal, the Delhi Abhibhavak Mahasangh (parents' organisation) alleged that the schools - Air Force Nursery School and Air Force Junior School - run by the society, failed to comply with the court's May 28 directions to schools on fees.

The parents' organisation said that the schools are not complying with the Delhi High Court's interim order on the procedure to be followed for hiking the fees.

Going against the order, the Air Force Nursery School has issued a fee slip in the first week of July, increasing the tuition fees from Rs.475 per month to Rs.1,000. Similarly, the Air Force Junior School has increased the feeS from Rs.435 to RS.1,100 per month, the petitioner said.

The court is scheduled to hear the plea Thursday.
